Nurse practitioners were 1.3 times more likely to screen HPV vaccination status compared to other providers. Regular screening was linked to positive provider attitudes, self-efficacy, recent training, and electronic health record prompts. Health centers with mandatory screening policies were 2.4 times more likely to conduct consistent screenings. The study emphasizes the role of college health centers in promoting HPV vaccine completion and calls for further research on screening practices among all students, including males and nonbinary/transgender individuals. Tailored interventions could enhance routine HPV vaccination screening.
