Through a unique collaboration, Disney and Make-A-Wish bring hope and inspiration to children with critical illnesses. This year, Disney introduced its first-ever Week of Wishes, an event dedicated to crafting unforgettable moments for families in need. From April 26 to May 2, 2025, Disney shared heartwarming stories of wish fulfillment through specially designed experiences across the globe.

A highlight of the week was the granting of Disney Princess wishes, where families enjoyed immersive character interactions at Disney parks and resorts. These magical encounters included adventure-filled journeys, breakfasts with princesses, boutique transformations, baking sessions, cruiseline experiences, shopping sprees, and special meet-and-greets. Children were delighted to receive their own princess costumes, enhancing the authenticity of their experiences. Behind the scenes, Disney teams worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect, from costume design to comfort, ensuring each child felt like royalty.

The Once Upon A Wish Party exemplified the magic of these events, inviting nearly 50 children and their families to Walt Disney World for a two-day storybook adventure. Four-year-old Lila Tenney was among those invited, and her family cherished the opportunity to escape the challenges they faced. "This means everything," expressed Lila’s father, highlighting the importance of such moments for relaxation and joy. Tasia Filippatos, President of Disney Consumer Products, emphasized the privilege of creating happiness for those in need, stating that Disney products play a crucial role in spreading hope and bringing magic home.

Making dreams come true is not just a yearly event but a daily reminder to cherish family moments. The partnership between Disney and Make-A-Wish continues to inspire countless families, proving that even amidst difficulties, joy and magic can be found. Through dedication and creativity, Disney ensures that every child feels seen and valued, leaving lasting smiles on their faces and hearts full of hope.
