Tesla's Model Y, despite a general downturn in the brand's sales, continues to lead the US electric vehicle market. However, this reign is poised for a significant challenge from Rivian's upcoming R2 midsize electric SUV.
Rivian is making substantial progress with the R2, having initiated pilot production with numerous prototypes undergoing rigorous real-world validation.
