Nomos Unveils Spring-Inspired Club Campus Watches in Olive and Rose Hues

Instructions

Nomos Glashütte consistently delights enthusiasts with its yearly spring introduction of new dial colors for the 36mm and 38.5mm Club Campus timepieces. This collection, known for its youthful appeal, serves as an ideal canvas for exploring fresh and imaginative color palettes. Nomos has always been at the forefront of incorporating distinctive hues and combinations into their designs, resulting in some of the most captivating watch faces in the industry. For spring 2026, the brand presents two exceptional new shades: “All Olive,” a deep and luxurious green, and “Full Rose,” a delicate and charming pink. These latest offerings represent a harmonious blend of style and innovation.

Over the past four years, we've diligently chronicled the unveiling of the spring Club Campus models. Previous years saw releases like the pink and purple variants in 2022, coral and green dials in 2023, light blue and red iterations in 2024, and the celestial dark blue and light yellow models that ushered in spring 2025. Among this diverse array, the current year's dials, particularly the soft pink and olive green, stand out as personal favorites. Nomos has skillfully integrated these colors into their marketing, and we had the privilege of experiencing two of the four new models firsthand.

The Nomos Club Campus series, with its characteristic annual updates, consistently features new dial colors in two distinct sizes. The collection includes the classic 36mm stainless steel Club Campus and the slightly larger 38.5mm Club Campus. Each size is meticulously crafted to offer comfort and style.

The 36mm model boasts a slender 8.2mm profile and a lug-to-lug measurement of 47.5mm, while its 38.5mm counterpart is 8.5mm thick with a 48.9mm lug-to-lug distance. Both variations are equipped with a robust 100m water resistance, making them suitable for everyday wear. They are paired with either a dark gray or beige velour strap, secured by a sleek stainless steel pin buckle.

At the heart of both timepieces lies the in-house-designed Nomos DUW 4001 caliber. This manual-winding movement, featuring 17 jewels, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides an impressive 53-hour power reserve. This movement represents a significant advancement over the previous Alpha caliber, offering enhanced power reserve and incorporating the brand's unique swing system escapement. The DUW 4001 showcases exquisite finishing, including blued screws, Glashütte stripes on the upper plate and bridge, perlage on the mainplate, and snailing on the ratchet wheel. For those who wish to admire this intricate craftsmanship, an optional display case back is available for an additional €200.

Delving into the specifics of the dials, the “All Olive” model features a rich green base, beautifully contrasted by luminous baton indexes and Arabic/Roman numerals outlined in a soft yellow. A vibrant orange hand marks the small seconds at 6 o'clock, while the minute track includes subtle light pink numerals every five minutes. Despite the seemingly varied color elements, the overall design is remarkably cohesive and visually pleasing.

The “Full Rose” dial presents a delicate pink hue, echoing the light yellow outlines for the hour markers found on the olive variant. This version also incorporates a small orange hand for its sub-seconds display. However, it distinguishes itself with burgundy markings for the sub-seconds and minute tracks, the latter featuring light blue numerals at five-minute intervals. This combination results in another playfully detailed dial that reveals its complexity upon closer inspection.

Having the opportunity to wear both models provided valuable insights. The 36mm Club Campus with the All Olive dial and the 38.5mm model with the Full Rose dial were both compelling. For me, the lighter "Full Rose" dial was particularly appealing, and the larger 38.5mm size proved to be a better fit for my 18.5cm (7.3″) wrist. While the 36mm model is well-proportioned, its 47.5mm lug-to-lug might feel too small for some, including myself. The 38.5mm Club Campus, however, fit perfectly and the soft pink dial complemented the gray strap beautifully, creating an instant connection.

An interesting optical effect was observed with the straps; although both were dark gray velour, their appearance shifted subtly depending on the dial color. The strap paired with the pink dial seemed lighter, a testament to Nomos’s thoughtful design. These watches underscore Nomos’s commitment to color artistry, offering both elegance and a playful spirit.

The Club Campus series stands as an excellent entry point for newcomers to the world of horology, offering a blend of fun, affordability, and sophisticated style. It also appeals to seasoned enthusiasts seeking a distinctive and charming everyday watch. Priced at €1,380 for the 36mm model and €1,480 for the 38.5mm version (both with a solid steel case back, with a €200 premium for a sapphire display back), these timepieces deliver exceptional value. They represent a testament to Nomos's expertise in crafting high-quality, in-house movements and vibrant, appealing designs.
