Instructions

Karma Automotive introduces the opulent interior of its latest offering, the Amaris GT Coupe, showcasing a blend of sophisticated design and advanced technology. This highly anticipated range-extended electric vehicle is poised to make its public debut at the prestigious Monterey Car Week, giving enthusiasts a closer look at its innovative features. The previously teased exterior design is now complemented by an equally impressive cabin, emphasizing a driver-centric and luxurious experience.

Inside the Amaris GT Coupe, a cutting-edge technological environment awaits, marked by an array of digital interfaces. The driver is greeted by a distinctive squircle-shaped steering wheel adorned with exposed carbon fiber and integrated capacitive touch controls, positioned ahead of a conventional digital instrument cluster. Complementing this setup are two additional screens: a large infotainment display positioned lower on the dashboard, and a dedicated screen for the passenger, enhancing connectivity and entertainment. The cabin’s lavish appeal is further accentuated by the use of Crimson Orbit leather and suede, alongside exquisite carbon fiber and piano black accents. Practicality is not overlooked, with a floating gear selector on the center console and a thoughtfully sculpted rear compartment designed for luggage, creating a refined two-seat configuration. Adding to the exclusivity is an electrochromatically adjustable glass roof, allowing occupants to control the amount of natural light entering the cabin.

Beyond its luxurious interior, the Amaris GT Coupe boasts a high-performance extended-range electric powertrain. It is propelled by dual electric motors, supported by a turbocharged four-cylinder generator and a 41.5-kilowatt-hour battery. This sophisticated system delivers a combined output of 708 horsepower and 676 pound-feet of torque, enabling the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in under 3.4 seconds. The vehicle's top speed is electronically limited to 165 mph. Furthermore, the Karma Amaris GT Coupe offers an all-electric range of up to 100 miles, extending to over 400 miles when utilizing its on-board generator. The vehicle's exterior design draws from Karma's evolving 'Comet Line' aesthetic, built upon an all-aluminum space frame chassis with a lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum body. Striking 22-inch 'Constellation' wheels and a distinctive clamshell hood featuring Karma's signature 'Target' lighting complete its athletic and elegant stance. Production of the Amaris is slated to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an estimated starting price of around $200,000 for the 2027 model year, a definitive price to be announced closer to its market launch.

The introduction of the Karma Amaris GT Coupe exemplifies the forward trajectory of automotive innovation, demonstrating how luxury, performance, and environmental consciousness can converge seamlessly. This vehicle represents a commitment to pushing boundaries, showcasing that cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices can enhance the driving experience without compromising on elegance or power. It stands as a testament to human ingenuity, inspiring us to embrace a future where advanced engineering and mindful design create extraordinary possibilities, fostering a positive impact on both personal enjoyment and global well-being.
