Audemars Piguet Unveils 150th Anniversary Novelties

Instructions

Audemars Piguet commemorates its 150th year with an impressive release of new timepieces, showcasing its rich legacy and forward-thinking craftsmanship. This anniversary collection introduces several notable additions, including new perpetual calendar models within both the Code 11.59 and Royal Oak series, all presented in a refined 38mm case, alongside three exclusive Code 11.59 Flying Tourbillon watches featuring natural stone dials.

The Code 11.59 lineup welcomes its first 38mm Perpetual Calendar, crafted from 18k pink gold and featuring a stunning green guilloché dial by Yann von Kaenel. This timepiece is powered by the innovative Calibre 7138, which streamlines day, date, month, leap year, and moon phase adjustments through a single crown, eliminating the need for traditional side correctors. The watch is further enhanced by pink gold hands, luminous hour markers, and a matching green alligator strap, creating a harmonious and sophisticated aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Royal Oak collection expands with two new 38mm perpetual calendars. One model boasts a stainless steel case with a light blue “Grande Tapisserie” dial, while the other features an 18k pink gold case and bracelet, paired with a beige Grande Tapisserie dial. Both Royal Oak models are equipped with the Calibre 7136 movement, offering crown-set functionality for an enhanced user experience, and exemplify the brand's meticulous attention to detail with their blend of satin-brushed and polished finishes.

Adding to the celebrations are three limited-edition Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon timepieces. These watches revive the brand’s use of natural stone dials, available in striking red ruby root, blue sodalite, and green malachite, each matched with a complementary case material: 18k white gold for ruby, pink gold for sodalite, and yellow gold for malachite. Powered by the ultra-thin Calibre 2968 movement, these watches showcase a captivating flying tourbillon that seemingly floats above the natural stone, complemented by coordinating alligator straps and an optional rubber-coated alternative for added versatility.

These new releases from Audemars Piguet not only celebrate a century and a half of horological excellence but also reaffirm the brand's commitment to innovation, precision, and artistic design. Each timepiece is a testament to the enduring allure of fine watchmaking, blending historical reverence with contemporary elegance, and offering collectors and enthusiasts alike a glimpse into the future of luxury timepieces.
