Beginning in 2027, this consistent baseload electricity will be sourced from newly established 200 MW renewable energy facilities. This strategic provision is projected to cover 50% of the energy consumption for Airbus's operations across these locations for the upcoming ten years, underscoring a mutual commitment to reducing carbon footprints.
These collaborations extend beyond power supply. TotalEnergies also recently formed a joint venture with Tikehau Capital to enhance the electric vehicle charging infrastructure in urban areas of Belgium and the Netherlands. Furthermore, the company entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Kuwait Oil Company to share expertise and conduct technical studies, signaling a broader engagement in the energy sector.
